Cobalt Construction is a husband-and-wife company. Matt grew up learning masonry from his father, earned a degree in Construction Management, and has managed projects worth up to $15 million. Kim brings a finance degree and a background in her family’s insurance agency to the business side, so you get clear answers on budgets and paperwork.

Treating customers like friends
Sarah and Wes hired us for a new driveway, stairs and patio. They describe Matt as honest and dependable, someone who works every job like it’s his own home, and say the finished concrete is so distinctive that neighbors regularly stop to ask who did it.
After a previous contractor took their money and never showed up, Jim and Sharon called us about a garage in 2006. Matt caught them as they were leaving town and asked for five minutes to meet in person. They got a fair price, a timely schedule and a garage whose paint and lighting match their home. Seven years later, their driveway and patio still hadn’t cracked.

Is Cobalt Construction licensed, bonded and insured?
Yes. We hold Arizona Registrar of Contractors licenses for residential general contracting (ROC 197725) and commercial general contracting (ROC 236672), and we are fully bonded and insured.
What areas do you serve?
We’re based in Fort Mohave and work throughout Bullhead City, Mohave Valley, Lake Havasu City, Flagstaff and the rest of Northern Arizona.
Do you take on smaller jobs like a patio or driveway?
Absolutely. Concrete is where we started. We pour driveways, patios, sidewalks, stairs and retaining walls, and we do concrete repairs too.
Can I use my own house plans?
Yes. Bring your own drawings, a rough sketch or just an idea, or start from one of our existing plans and customize it.
Do you build commercial projects?
Yes. We build new offices and storefronts and handle tenant improvements for leased spaces, working with you, your architect and your landlord.
